About Liz

Liz Curtis (b. 1984) is an American mixed media artist based in London. After a career in interior design and an international move, she fully immersed herself in her artistic practice, combining her background in design with a lifelong passion for painting and sketching. Her creative process is meditative, offering space for introspection and a connection to the fleeting beauty of everyday life.

Liz’s work is inspired by the ethereal qualities of light and nature, capturing the delicate transitions between seasons, moods, and experiences. She is drawn to quiet moments, Her mixed media pieces blend traditional materials in unconventional ways, creating tactile works that evoke both the seen and the felt. 

Since moving to London, Liz has refined her artistic skills through coursework at the Royal Drawing School, deepening her technical abilities and expanding her creative vision. Recently, she was recognized in the 2024 Emerging Artist show at the Gallery at Green & Stone, a prestigious platform for up-and-coming artists. Her work is now held in collections across the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe.
